Event: World AIDS Day 2023

December 1, 2023

Each year, on December 1, the world gathers to remember those lost to and impacted by HIV/AIDS and champion the ongoing fight against the epidemic. To commemorate World AIDS Day, the New York City AIDS Memorial will host its annual, free, and public observance featuring an afternoon and early evening of programming in collaboration with organizations dedicated to bringing communities together in the fight to end AIDS.

Free and public events begin a 10 AM and include a community gathering and reading of names of New Yorkers lost to AIDS with Housing Works, a Queer Soup Night Fundraiser, the 32nd Annual Out of the Darkness candlelight vigil, performances, and more.
