A decade ago, the New York City AIDS Memorial was dedicated at the intersection of Greenwich Avenue and West 12th Street—a physical anchor for reflection, education, and collective memory.

Over the past ten years, we have honored the more than 100,000 New Yorkers lost to AIDS, championed the radical activism that changed the world, and served as an open-air center for contemporary art, education, and community gathering.

To mark this 10-year milestone and sustain our mission for the decade ahead, we invite you to a special West Village benefit evening. Gather with fellow supporters, advocates, and neighbors to toast a decade of memories and fund the Memorial's future. The evening begins with handcrafted cocktails and classic bites at Bar Pisellino, followed by a short walk down the street to Spazio Creativo for an intimate, family-style feast crafted by acclaimed culinary partners Rita Sodi and Jody Williams (Via Carota, I Sodi). The dinner will feature cabaret performances by legendary designer and entertainer Isaac Mizrahi and celebrated actress and comedian Ana Gasteyer.

The Memorial relies entirely on private generosity to sustain our site and keep every program free to the public. Proceeds from every ticket directly support our public art exhibitions, community gatherings, and educational resources, while ensuring the site remains a pristine place of reflection year-round.
