NY1: Local organizations mark World AIDS Day

Monday is World AIDS Day, which is aimed at raising awareness of the disease and remembering the more than 44 million people who have died from AIDS-related complications.

Dave Harper, the executive director of the New York City AIDS Memorial, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about events happening related to World AIDS Day and current threats to funding by the Trump administration.
